The DIGIFOF project proposes a network of training environments where HEIs, enterprises and training insitutions come together to develop skill profiles, training concepts as well as materials for design aspects of the Factory of the Future (FoF). An international network of OMILAB Laboratories aims at providing educational and experimental OMiLAB4FoF laboratories, where FoF-aspects can be taught practically or experimented with.

Following the last year edition and its success, IMT TUM organise a new industrial workshop supported by German French academy for the industry of the future. Academic and industrial speakers engaged in industrial engineering have been invited to participate in the seminar and to explore this year’s topic around collaborative networks 4.0 and their implication in social and environmental global terms. Moreover, the NEMO Day will give participants an idea of the two-week event, namely the NEMO Summer School, that usually takes place at the end of July at the University of Vienna.

Sibiu Innovation Days 2021 follows a very successful first edition organized in 2020, which represented a first step in the development of an innovation ecosystem in the Transylvania area, built around the Cluj IT Cluster with impact in shaping the economic and social vitality of the entire region.

PRINT is a Brazilian program for internationalization of the Brazilian universities and research institutions.
In the scope of this program, the Workshop PRINT UFSC 2020 was organized by the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in Florianopolis, Brazil, 14-15 Dec 2020.

The Advanced Doctoral Conference on Computing, Electrical and Industrial Systems is celebrating its 12th edition (DoCEIS 2021) with a focus on Technological Innovation for Applied Artificial Intelligence Systems.

Objectives

The summer school will take place at the premises of the University of Vienna, Faculty of Computer Science and offers a two week program combining lectures and practical work in multicultural groups based on six topical pillars.

The implementation in the factories of the future of the concepts related to digital technologies, including Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Smart manufacturing, Computer vision, Collaborative work from multiple perspectives and collaborative innovation bring a lot of added-values contributing to the 4th industrial revolution.

In recent years, PRO-VE Conferences have introduced the notion of Collaborative networks 4.0 (CN4.0) as the new generation of collaborative networks, in the era of applied Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. Meanwhile since last year, the world has encountered major health and economic crises caused by the Corona pandemic, emphasizing that disruptive situations, at different scales, tend to be increasingly frequent, while having strong impact in the society. Smart and digital technologies supporting agility, scalability, resilience, and adaptability, characterize CN 4.0.

Sibiu Innovation Days has emerged from the desire to bring closer academia, businesses and decision makers. The event closely follows the successful model of Cluj Innovation Days, which has proven over the years to be a platform among all the main stakeholders in the Cluj wider region interested in bringing innovation in many aspects of their activities.
